Developing software for the You Rock Guitar
We will be releasing our first release of the SDK soon. If you are interested in the Beta program or feel as though you can make a contribution to the development process, please contact us. Programmers with existing MIDI games or music based computer games might take great delight in our SDK program. We expect it to be a lot of fun and likely profitable for those early adopters.
The current platform integration with the You Rock Guitar includes: MIDI, APPLE, WINDOWS, Wii, X-Box, Sony Playstation, iPhone, and BlueTooth.
Application SDK Gamers
The You Rock Guitar Software Developer Kit Gamers (SDK) will allow a new generation of music game developers, or those with existing computer and gaming applications, to develop and market their games and programs for the You Rock Guitar platform.
Application SDK Education
The You Rock Guitar Software Developer Kit Education (SDK) will allow a new generation of guitar teachers and music education developers to convert previous work or teaching ideas into products that can be offered on the YouRockGuitar.com web site, much like Apple™ sells songs and movies.
YOU ROCK GUITAR… the perfect wave of learning, creating and rocking.

Can you say what the interface language(s) will be for the Apple/Windows SDKs?
The most immediate will simply be MIDI. We will be making an announcement over the summer about specifics. Remember that with our GameFlex cartridges you will also have bluetooth capabilities via many of the game platforms and of course Mac’s PC’s and mobile devices like the iPhone.

Cool. I’ve signed up to be kept informed (Contact Us). Look forward to seeing both the guitar and SDK in the summer. Success with this!
I also dropped you a line about the beta program. I look forward to hearing from you
This is an exciting product for guitar teachers. I’m looking forward to helping students learn guitar using this guitar and software, and helping gamers make the transition to playing a real guitar.

Hey Will,
Nice getting to know you. Christmas is over and its time to get rocking again. Were prepping for the CES and working on the affiliate program all at the same time. Have you checked out the new videos on http://www.youtube.com/user/YouRockGuitar
Happy New Year to follow!
